“‘Now if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he must bring as his offering for his sin a tenth of an eʹphah* of fine flour for a sin offering. He should not add oil to it or place frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

A tenth of an ephah equaled 2.2 L (2 dry qt). See App. B14.

“‘No man among you should approach any of his close relatives to have sexual relations.* I am Jehovah.
7 Ghẹ yagha erha vbene u gha na gu iye ruẹ ru emwi vberriọ. Ghẹ yagha iye ruẹ.
7 You must not have sexual relations with your father, and you must not have sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother, and you must not have sexual relations with her.
8 Ghẹ yagha erha ra vbene u gha na gu avbe amwẹ ọnrẹn nekpa ru emwi ọdọ vbe amwẹ.
8 “‘You must not have sexual relations with your father’s wife. It is exposing your father to shame.*
9 Ghẹ gu ivbiye ruẹ nokhuo ra ovbi erha nokhuo ru emwi ọdọ vbe amwẹ, ọre owa ọkpa ọre a na koko uwa ra ẹi re ọre.
9 “‘You must not have sexual relations with your sister, either the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, whether she is born in the same household or born outside of it.
10 Ghẹ gu eyẹ ruẹ ru emwi vberriọ. Ifaegbua ọre ọnii gha khin nuẹn.
10 “‘You must not have sexual relations with the daughter of your son or the daughter of your daughter, because they are your own nakedness.
11 Ghẹ gu ọtuẹn nokhuo, ne okhuo ọvbehe biẹ ne erha ru emwi ọdọ vbe amwẹ, gha ya obọ ne u ya mu ovbiye ruẹ nokhuo muẹn.
11 “‘You must not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, the offspring of your father, because she is your sister.
12 Ghẹ gu ovbiye evbibiọ nokhuo ru emwi ọdọ vbe amwẹ,
12 “‘You must not have sexual relations with your father’s sister. She is your father’s blood relative.
13 ọre obọ erha nọ ra obọ iye.
13 “‘You must not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s blood relative.
14 Ghẹ gu amwẹ ivbiye erha ru emwi, ka ẹre yọ zẹvbe ovbiye erha.
14 “‘You must not expose your father’s brother to shame* by having sexual relations with his wife. She is your aunt.
15 Ghẹ gu ovbi ọvbokhan ruẹn ru emwi vberriọ.
15 “‘You must not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife, and you must not have relations with her.
16 Ghẹ gu amwẹ ovbiye ruẹ ru emwi vberriọ.
16 “‘You must not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, because it is exposing your brother to shame.*
17 Ghẹ gu ọmọ iwu ra eyẹ okhuo ne uwẹ ka gu ru emwi ọdọ vbe amwẹ nẹ ru emwi vberriọ, iran sẹtin gha re etuẹn, ẹki uyinmwẹ ovbukhọ ọre ọnii khin.
17 “‘You must not have sexual relations with a woman and her daughter. You must not take the daughter of her son and the daughter of her daughter in order to have relations. They are her close relatives; it is an obscene act.*
18 Ghẹ rhie ovbiye amwẹ ọnrẹn rọnmwẹ vbe amwẹ, ọ nii gha ye gha rre agbọn.
18 “‘You must not take a woman in addition to her sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while her sister is alive.
19 Ghẹ gu okhuo nọ mu obọmwẹ ru emwi, rhunmwuda, awua guẹ re.
19 “‘You must not approach a woman during her menstrual impurity to have sexual relations with her.
20 Ghẹ gu amwẹ ẹrrẹe ru emwi, rhunmwuda ọni gha si awua yuẹ egbe.
20 “‘You must not have sexual intercourse with the wife of your fellow man,* making yourself unclean.
21 Ghẹ rhie ovbi ruẹ rhọkpa ne iran ya gho ẹbọ Milkọm rhunmwuda onii gha yagha eni Osanobua nọ re Nọyaẹnmwa.
21 “‘You must not allow any of your offspring to be offered* to Moʹlech. You must not profane the name of your God in that way. I am Jehovah.
22 Okpia ghẹ gu okpia ru emwi. Ọ sọnnọ Osanobua.
22 “‘You must not lie down with a male in the same way that you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable act.
23 Ọre ọkpia nọ ra okhuo nọ, ọmwarhọkpa ghẹ gu aranmwẹ ru emwi. Ai ghẹru vberriọ gha mu awua guẹ.
23 “‘A man must not have sexual intercourse with an animal to become unclean by it; nor should a woman offer herself to an animal to have intercourse with it. It is a violation of what is natural.
24 Wa ghẹ yin avbe uyinmwẹ na ya mu awua gie egbe uwa. Odẹ vbenian, ọre avbe ni ga ẹbọ ni ka gha rre otọ na khẹ uwa ya mu awua gie egbe iran, te Nọyaẹnmwa ghi khulo iran kua na ne uwa miẹn ehe na larọ.
24 “‘Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for it is by all these things that the nations that I am driving out from before you have made themselves unclean.
25 Uyinmwẹ iran keghi mu awua ye otọ nii, rhunmwuda ọnii, ọre Nọyaẹnmwa na rria otọ nii ikhi, vbe nọ na ya ẹre gha zẹ emwa ni yin ẹnrẹn owẹ
25 Therefore, the land is unclean, and I will bring punishment on it for its error, and the land will vomit its inhabitants out.
26 Iran ke ru ai ghẹru na hia, iran na mu awua ye otọ nii, sokpan wa ghi rhie owẹ lele uhi kevbe ilele ọghe Nọyaẹnmwa,
26 But you yourselves must keep my statutes and my judicial decisions, and you must not do any of these detestable things, whether a native or a foreigner who is residing among you.
27 a ghẹ gie a miẹn ọmwarhọkpa vbe uwu uwa, ọre ovbi Izrẹl nọ ra orhunmwuyẹn ni rre ẹbu uwa, nọ gha ru avbe emwi na.
27 For all these detestable things were done by the men who lived in the land before you, and now the land is unclean.
28 Odẹ vberriọ ọre otọ nii i ra na zẹ uwa owẹ, zẹ vbe nọ zẹ iran owẹ avbe eni ga ẹbọ ni ka gha rre evba khẹ uwa.
28 Then the land will not have to vomit you out for defiling it in the same way that it will vomit out the nations that were before you.
29 Wa rẹnrẹn wẹẹ ọmwaikọmwa nọ ru emwi ifaegbua na, ai ghi ka ẹre ba emwa Osanobua.
29 If anyone does any of these detestable things, all those* doing them must be cut off* from among their people.
30 E Nọyaẹnmwa ke kha wẹẹ, “Wa gha rhie owẹ lele ilele ne I rhie ne uwa, wa ghẹ yin uyinmwẹ avbe iran ni ka gha rre otọ nii khẹ uwa, wa ghẹ mu awua gie egbe uwa vbekpa ne uwa gha na ru avbe emwi na. Mẹ ọre Nọyaẹnmwa ne Osanobua uwa”
30 You must keep your obligation to me by not practicing any of the detestable customs that were carried on before you, so that you do not make yourselves unclean by them. I am Jehovah your God.’”

“‘If a man presents a communion sacrifice to Jehovah to pay a vow or as a voluntary offering, it should be a sound animal from the herd or the flock, in order to gain approval. No defect at all should be in it.
22 Wa ghẹ ye aranmwẹ nọ rhua aro zẹ ọhẹ gie Nọyaẹnmwa, ra nọ kunse, nọ fian utukunmwu, ra nọ mwẹ ẹtẹ nọ gin amẹ ne egbe ẹre vbuavbuae ra nọ bolo ikpakpa. Wa ghẹ ya egbe aranmwẹ vberriọ zọ ese vbe aka zẹ vbe izọhẹ evbare.
22 No offering should be blind, have a fracture, a cut, a wart, scabbiness, or ringworm; you must not present any of these to Jehovah or make such an offering on the altar for Jehovah.
